An old-fashioned Victorian pink, ‘Mrs Sinkins’ has rich clove-scented double white flowers with ragged petals and green-white centres held over a mat of narrow blue-grey foliage.

Plant this perennial where you can enjoy its scent, such as the edge of a path or in a container adjacent to a seating area.  It is an obvious choice for a cottage garden, but also makes a superb alpine or rockery plant.  Its evergreen foliage makes an excellent foil for other surrounding plants. ‘Mrs Sinkins’ performs best in an enriched alkaline to neutral well-drained soil, in full sun.
