During the summer canary yellow trumpet-like flowers appear over narrow, arching grass-like foliage. Hemerocallis, commonly known as Daylily,  has a clump-forming bushy habit.

A reasonably good moisture-retentive soil is needed for this plant to thrive, in either sun or partial shade. This is a low maintenance perennial which only needs dividing every four to five years. It looks wonderful when planted en masse to create a swathe of colour. Equally ‘Happy Returns’ is an excellent choice for a small garden, flowering over a long period of time it really earns its place in your flower bed or border.
