Commonly known as Przewalskii Golden Ray, this plant is native to China. Tall, deep-black stems bear spikes of small star-like yellow flowers from mid to late summer. Large jagged green leaves create a loose mound at the base of the plant.
L. przewalskii will thrive in a poorly drained soil and a sheltered sunny site, perfect for a bog garden or for growing alongside a stream or pond. Large clumps can be divided during spring.
