This variety of Solomon’s Seal, ‘Striatum’, has arching stems which bear attractive variegated leaves, each green leaf is streaked with cream. In early summer white tubular flowers with green tips hang like teardrops from the arching stems.
Polygonatumx hybridum ‘Striatum’ looks fabulous planted in areas of partial shade where its brightly coloured foliage will add contrast, plant either amongst trees and shrubs or with other shade loving perennials. A humus-rich soil is best – divide plants during spring if desired.
All parts of this plant are toxic.
