Valeriana pyrenaica has large heart-shaped green leaves. Tiny individual light pink flowers form clusters on the end of branched stems during early summer. The flowers are nectar/pollen rich, which encourages bees to visit this perennial.

Great for wildlife gardens that are situated in sun or part shade. When planting Valeriana pyrenaica in your beds and borders choose a position in the middle of your border. Moisture retentive soils are needed for this plant to produce its best. Great for naturalistic planting schemes alongside watercourses.
